How Do You Make A Honey Bee Trap?
Honeybees collect pollen and take it to the hive to be turned into honey, which in turn becomes the bee’s food source and is available all year round. Honey has many benefits, including antibacterial qualities. If you consume local varieties, it may help fend off allergies. Honeybees also create beeswax to build their honeycombs with, which we use in a variety of everyday products. Although they have many benefits, bees can also be a nuisance, especially if you have an allergy to their stings. Using a bee trap is a great way to cut down the number of bees around your home. Empty the contents of a 20 ounce plastic bottle and clean it thoroughly. If you are using a bottle with a sugar-based liquid, you can reserve some of the liquid to use in place of homemade sugar water. Cut four X shapes into the bottle halfway down, using the box cutter. Each cut should be about 1/2 to 3/4 inches long. Be careful to make sure you have a firm hold on the bottle and keep your hands free of the blade. P
