How Do I Vote for American Idol?
“American Idol” is a reality music television show known worldwide in which hopeful contestants compete against one another in singing competitions for a chance to win a professional recording contract. The show, which debuted in 2002, was created by Simon Fuller and is hosted by Ryan Seacrest. “American Idol” has a panel of judges which consists of Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, Kara DioGuardi and Ellen DeGeneres (who replaced longtime judge Paula Abdul). The main responsibility of the judges is to critique the individual performances of the contestants during the show. Winners are determined by viewer votes; every week contestants are voted off until one winner stands.
