What a honor bar is?
Many hotels come with an honor bar. An honor bar is a refrigerator stocked with soda, beer, and those teeny bottles of liquor. You tell the front desk how many you used on the way out, which is “on your honor.” Weird thing is I’ve never used one in all my business travels. The thought of paying three bucks for a coke or five bucks for a beer just irks me, and it is well worth the walk to buy a few at a convenience store. The only time I’ve ever used a room’s bar fridge has been at all-inclusive resorts.
