Lucius Fox, a character original to the comic books, is the CEO of Wayne Enterprises and a secret ally of Batman. In Batman Begins, Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman) is in research and development. Only at the end does Bruce Wayne fire Mr. Earle and hire Lucius as CEO. Lucius appeared in both Batman animated series in the ’90s; he currently appears in the 2000s animated series called “The Batman.” He did not appear in any of the four Tim Burton/Joel Schumacher Batman films.
