How effective is TFT?

TFT can be remarkably effective. In a private consultation setting success is often achieved in one to three sessions. Conventional therapy usually takes between six and twelve sessions, and sometimes more. In the aftermath of the Kosovan crisis TFT was found to be a most effective therapy achieving a success rate of 98% (see Journal of Clinical Psychology,. 2001, Volume 57 (10), pages 1237 to 1240). Please note that this special edition of the Journal of Clinical Psychology published in October 2001 with Dr. Roger Callahan as a guest editor was not a peer reviewed edition of the journal.
