Can anyone sing anything ?
Coming from a technical point of view, no. Some can cross between different genres, but no one can sing it all. We all are born with instruments suited for different things. This doesn’t make us less of a good singer. It makes us unique. Some of us have higher voices, some of us have lower voices. Some of us have big “belter” type instruments (I still have issues with that word. I think its just a natural part of some people’s instruments), while some of us, no matter how hard we tried, will wind up in an ENT office from vocal damage, trying to sing things that doesn’t fit what God gave us. Some of us have wonderful lyric type voices. Some of us have naturally sounding voices geared towards classical music, but would sound a mess singing jazz. Vice versa. In other words, sing in your own style. God has chosen to give you a gift. Use this for your own purpose. You can still sing hardcore if you choose, but you don’t have to sing it like other hardcore singers. There are all types of voi
