Laid Off?
I truly feel for anyone who has been laid off, downsized, rightsized, furloughed, forced into early retirement, or whatever you want to call it. I feel your pain because I’ve been laid off from Corporate America twice myself. You’ve done nothing wrong, it’s nothing personal. It’s “just business” they say. And I imagine you’re like me, not a fat cat CEO who mismanages a giant company, runs it into the ground and gets millions. That job I would have been fine with being laid off from! If you’re smart, getting laid off should be your wake up call. You deserve better. You deserve more control over your destiny. From here on in, you have to stop thinking like an employee, and start putting yourself and the needs of your loved ones first. You need to think like an infopreneur, or information entrepreneur. I’m not saying that you should never work for anyone again, as you may need to at first to pay the bills. What I am saying is don’t ever leave yourself completely open to getting your livel
