Are Chondroitin Sulfates Absorbable?
Studies over the past 40 years in Japan, the US and Europe have clearly shown that chondroitin sulfates can be absorbed in intact, biologically active form following oral administration. Using a variety of techniques with laboratory animals, dogs, and humans, researchers have found that up to 40% of dietary chondroitin sulfates can be absorbed into the bloodstream. Recommended Feeding Feed scoop twice daily for 3 to 4 weeks. Reduce to 1/2 scoop daily for maintenance. To assure economical use, measure accurately and blend thoroughly with feed. Increase feeding of large breeds proportionately according to body weight in excess of 1,000 pounds.
