How is access via a browser secured?
The browser user must sign-on using a userid and a password. Use any of the following security methods: • Internal security • RACF • ACF/2 • Top/Secret SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is also used to provide complete security. Mainframe report distributions are archived into “report groups”, a user id must be authorized to access a group. After an installation specified length of browser inactivity the sign-in is canceled. This protects against someone else using your sign-on if you leave your workstation.
