By selecting the re-center button and then clicking on any point within the map view you can effectively move the view of the area. When you click on a point within the map view after selecting the re-center button, you are choosing a new center for the map view. The map view area can also be moved using the directions and direction arrows located to the top, bottom, and sides of the map view.
