Alright, so first things first before attempting a backflip on a snowboard you should be very confident on your board and have lots of experience hitting jumps and doing tricks. It would also help if you could do backflips on the ground, off a diving board, and on a trampoline, doing this will help you get used to the motion and the feeling of performing backflips. You should not preform a backflip unless you feel 100% confident and committed. 1- Approach the jump with enough speed to definitely clear the jump. ( take a few practice jumps just to get a feel of how much speed you will need to clear the jump). 2- Once you get close to the jump bend your knees and get in a possession that will give you momentum for the flip. 3- Once you’re three fourths up the jump start performing the flip by leaning backwards and swinging your hands upwards and behind you, to give you the momentum to preform the flip. 4- While you are preforming the flip I recommend you hold a grab because it will help
