How Do You Make Simple Taco Salad?
Taco salads are easy to make and quick for those rushed week night meals. Ingredients: 1 pound lean ground beef 1/2 bottle hot taco sauce 1/2 bottle medium taco sauce 1 small can tomato sauce 1 small onion, chopped 1 head of iceberg lettuce, or lettuce of your choice 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Sour cream Tortilla chips In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain off fat. Stir in taco sauces, tomato sauce and onion. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes stirring occasionally. Chop lettuce and arrange on serving plates. Spoon beef mixture over lettuce. Sprinkle top with shredded cheddar cheese. Serve with sour cream and tortilla chips.
