What is Latin Percussion?
Latin percussion is the term used to group a set of percussion instruments that are characteristically used in performing Latin American music. Latin percussion often is engaged in ostinato, and agogo bells are an ostinato instrument, like the claves, and untuned metal bells, like the cowbell. They come in sets of three or four bells, and are tuned to approximately a third apart.
