How Do You Make A Sawbuck Cocktail?
A sawbuck cocktail is a bold, interesting cocktail made with citron vodka, orange vodka, plain vodka, fresh tangerine juice and Cointreau liqueur. The drink has a very strong fruit flavor, predominately of oranges, making it similar to many other vodka and orange-based cocktails. However, the sawbuck is a bit more refined and elegant than most. Fill a cocktail shaker half-full with crushed ice. Add the citron vodka, orange vodka, plain vodka, tangerine juice and Cointreau to the cocktail shaker. Cover the cocktail shaker and shake for 10 to 15 seconds. Strain the contents of the shaker into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish the rim of the glass with a twisted lemon peel and serve immediately.
