So you’ve just bought a couple of JBL speakers and you’re having trouble figuring out how to hook them up. These days, the back of home audio receiver can look like something out of NASA; there’s a ton of plugs, dials, switches and a bunch of other things that all add up to intimidating. However, connecting a set of speakers isn’t nearly as hard as it might look at first glance. Unplug your home audio receiver. Place your speakers where you want them in the room. Determine how you want to run your wire from your home audio receiver to the speaker. This may include running them across a baseboard or under a rug to keep the wire out of the way. Strip just over an inch off the end of the speaker wire. Holding the tips of the scissors, slowly cut into the rubber tubing of the wire, being careful not to cut all the way through.
