How Do You Tie Laces On Snowboard Boots?
Tying your snowboard boots is one of the most important things that you’ll do on any given day of snowboarding. You want to get the boot as tight around your foot as you can. Lace systems vary by boot, but here’s a look at the basics of tying snowboard boots. Slide each foot into the appropriate boot. Secure the inner liner. Most modern snowboard boots have a lacing system for the inner liner and one for the outer boot. Pull the inner liner lacing taut. Many snowboard boots come with a wire lacing system which has a handle that you simply pull taut. Open the slider mechanism and slide it down as far as you can. Lock the slider in place. Tie the inner laces. Some snowboard boots have basic laces on the inner liner. Tie these as tight as you can get them. To make them tighter, pull the lowest loop on the lace taut and pull each lace loop taut all the way up to the loose ends. This will help to keep the liner tight on your entire foot.
