How Do You Hang A Curtain Rod?
Decorating windows or doors with curtains adds a personal touch to any room. Here are five simple steps to take if you need to install a new curtain rod. First, decide what length of curtain you want to use for the window. If you already have the curtain, hold it up against the window to determine where it should hang. You can also use a measuring tape instead of the actual curtain. Mark this point with some masking tape, chalk, or pencil. You will use this as a reference point when determining where to place the rod mounting brackets. Figure out the rough placement of the mounting brackets and tape them into place with the masking tape. They should be placed a few inches from each side of the window. You can adjust the placement to your personal taste. With the brackets taped in place (or held in place by someone), install the curtain rod. It is all right at this point for the rod to look uneven in its place. We will level it in the next step. Place the level across the top of the rod
