Utah Starzz Head Coach, Candi Harvey, joined the franchise in 1999 as an assistant coach to Fred Williams. Harvey took over the head coaching position after the resignation of Williams on July 6, 2001. She has led the Starzz to back-to-back playoff appearances. During the 2002 season the Starzz posted a franchise-best 20-12 mark and advanced to the Western Conference Finals.
