How Do You Use Tinyurl?
Sometimes links on the web are easy and short like www.ehow.com Other times, the links are quite large. In order to reduce the size for sites like twitter which only allows a 140 character message, you can take the link to www.tinyurl.com and shrink it. Go to the site that you want a short link for. Use your regular browser commands and links to get there. Once you are on the site, look at the top of your browser where the long address is being displayed. Click the mouse on that address link and make sure that the entire address is highlighted. If necessary, go to the end of the link and holding the left button of your mouse down, run the mouse pointer all the way to the opposite end of the address Now enter control-C to copy that address. Alternatively, right click the highlighted address and click the “Copy” option.
