The whole point of BitLocker, which comes with Vista Enterprise and Ultimate editions, is to protect computers even when someone gains physical access to the machine (such as when a laptop is stolen). It does this by encrypting the entire disk. But now a group of security researchers have announced that they can use a simple can of compressed air to “freeze” the contents of RAM and capture the encryption keys.
