What really causes stomach ulcer?

0

It’s mainly caused by a bacteria called Heliobacter Pylori… It is normally found in our gut but when the Ph in the stomach gets out of whack it starts to wreak havoc… And also stress, because it stimulates the production of gastric juices… And smoking… because of vasospasm, and because the stomach has finer blood vessels blood can’t get through… And not eating at the right time, the stomach doesn’t stop producing acids and it eventually eats away at the mucous membrane which protects the gastric lining… There are also medications like mefanamic acid that causes gastritis if you take it on an empty stomach…. And chronic gastritis leads to stomach ulcers… I highly doubt that ingesting “highly acidic drinks” would cause an ulcer, unless of course your stomach lining is already weakened or something…
