How Do You Make Ribbon Hair Bows?
Make fun bows for any little girl! Using only ribbon, needle and thread! Decide how many layers you would like your bow to be. The one in the picture is 2. I wouldn’t recommend more than 5. For a 2 layer bow you need 3 pieces 7 inches long and 3 pieces of 6 inches long for the smaller layer. Find the middle of your ribbon and stick your needle and thread through all three strands for one layer in the same place. Now take the ends of the ribbon and beginning placing them onto your needle thats holding the ribbon middle. After all of the ends are onto the needle push through. Spread the ribbon around to make a nice shape and then sew through the middle a few more times to strengthen. Now repeat with the other layer. When finished. Put the smaller layer on top of the larger layer and sew the middles to eachother. To attach the clip just put some tacky glue on the top of the clip and attach it to the bottom of your bow.
