What keeps Angies List honest?
All ratings on Angie’s List come from consumers and homeowners. Service providers can’t pay to be rated on the list, nor are they allowed to rate themselves. Additionally, providers cannot remove their names from the List. Consumers who share their service experiences with us are asked to grade their overall satisfaction on an “A” through “F” grading scale. Service providers averaging an “A” or “B” rating are invited to offer our members a coupon. We immediately revoke the coupon of any service provider whose average rating falls below a “B.” Angie’s List also accepts advertising for products and services we don’t rate.
