Modify your Nintendo Wii so it can play backup games that had been saved as computer files. An optical mod circuit board can be purchased from a speciality Wii supply store to enable the Wii to play backup games off of discs or from a USB thumb drive or external USB hard drive. This modification or “modding” requires opening up the Wii and leaving it open, because the optical mod circuit board is too large to fit inside of the Wii.
