How Do You Construct A Water Filter?
Whether you’d like to know how to survive in the wilderness, create a science fair project or catch and drink rainwater at your own home, knowing how to make a water filter is valuable information. You can make your own basic water filter that will provide clean water to drink. Use the nail to create several small holes in the bottom of one container. This will allow your clean water to escape after it has been filtered. The containers can be plastic or metal, or, in desperate situations, they can be created from wood or large, dry leaves. Pour half of the gravel into the container with the holes. Then add half of the sand to make another layer.Spread the remaining gravel, then top that with the remainder of the sand. Place the filter container on top of the empty container and pour your dirty water sample through the filter. You will notice that the water comes out clear into the empty container.
