What are lentils / dahls good for?
They are good for everyone. They’re a good source of fiber, protein and other nutrients. They are a good carb source verses pasta or white rice for people watching their weight. I use them in soups and stews mostly. Ive also made a salad out of lentils (don’t overcook though) mixed xhopped veffies and fresh herbs such as chopped chives, dill and cilantro topped with a bit of olive oil and lemon juice.
