If you like to go fishing but don’t like to carry a tackle box, you can make a tackle box belt. Most of the items necessary to make it are easy to find around the house. So, let’s get started. The sooner you start, the sooner you can take your new tackle box belt fishing. Locate the belt you plan to use. An old, webbed belt works well for this project. If you don’t have an old belt, go to a sewing supply store and purchase belt webbing and an appropriate belt buckle for the webbing. If you make your own belt, finish it before you start the tackle box. Design where you want to put the various items on the belt. You want the items you use the most where they are easiest to reach. Sew one end of the elastic to the belt. Hold a canister to the belt. Wrap the elastic around the canister and to the belt.
