How Do You Wire Wrap A Briolette?
A tear-shaped bead with a hole drilled into the top is referred to as a briolette. The bead, whether gem, crystal or other material is smooth or enhanced with triangular facets cut into the shape. Most commonly used for pendants, a wrapped briolette is also found on earrings and bracelets. Wrap with complementary or contrasting wire such as copper, silver and even black to influence the overall desired design. As a highly fashionable accessory, a wrapped briolette conveys a delicate and elegant charm to its wearer. Cut approximately five to six inches of wire, depending on the size of the briolette you have chosen. Thread the wire through the hole. Move the briolette near to midpoint of the wire.
