What is KLIMT?
KLIMT is owned and managed by the Department of Health and is only available within the Department. However, it is outlined here for information, as an example of a process that could potentially be developed by NHS organisations either in conjunction with, or independently of the Department. Groups take part by: • completing a questionnaire that helps them gauge “where they are now” • taking part in a facilitated workshop, which enables the group to identify and understand the knowledge issues they need to address • creating and implementing an action plan, which will address those issues • ongoing work, with support, to make sure the momentum is maintained and the necessary change is sustained. One of the main outputs from the KM Training and Engagement programme, are personal action plans. In this context, the role of KLIMT has changed slightly.
