How are bracelet makers chosen?
When the program began, IC staff linked up with the local governmental officials at each of the project sites to help identify people in the community considered the most disadvantaged and vulnerable. This included former LRA abductees, single heads of household, people living with disabilities, single mothers and people living positively with HIV/AIDS. Throughout its time of operation, the program was dedicated to assisting and empowering members of the internal displacement camps who specifically met this criterion.
