Adjusted acquisition cost for purposes of determining reimbursement rates for DME is the lowest price paid to a supplier by an eligible provider for durable medical equipment, medical/surgical supplies after adjustments for quantity discounts and excluding all associated costs, including but not limited to, shipping, freight, handling and insurance costs.
