How Do You Put The “Fun” In Dysfunctional?
Let’s face it, either we’re from dysfunctional upbringings or know of people who are. The world is full of those suffering from low self-esteem issues and problems which stem from our own inadequacies and those we acquired while living with our families. Whether there was alcoholism, abuse, or just too many kids taking up too much of mom and dad’s time, we have all felt neglected, hurt, ashamed, or bothered at one point or another in our lifetime. The trick is to recognize it, accept it, forgive those who have done you wrong, and move forward with your life. Yes, it’s as simple and as complex as that! Only you have the ability to live your life the way you deem appropriate. No one else can live it for you, try as they may!!!! So let’s pick ourselves up by the bootstraps, dust ourselves off, and vow to make a better, more meaningful future for whom? FOR YOU! Stop trying to live up to unreasonable standards by others, and do what YOU want to do. Follow your heart. Live a little. Let go,
