How does MicroGiving work?
Donors browse Recipient profiles, or search by category such as loss of housing, loss of job, unexpected illness, or basic needs (to name a few). Donors then choose the cause they care about most and donate with the click of a button directly to the verified Recipient(s) of choice using our secure, quick and efficient credit card system. To make donations, Donors have two options: 1) Join the community, deposit funds into your Donor account and keep track of all your donations, or 2) Make a direct deposit via credit card. Recipients Sign Up to MicroGiving by following our simple registration. Once registered, Recipients 1) Complete their profile, 2) Submit a Request for help, and 3) Submit Supporting Documents to prove their need is legitimate.
