Heron Bay residents or anyone who has an active account with the Henry County Water and Sewage Authority (HCWSA) has the capability to obtain a seasonal permit, which must be purchased through HCWSA. Turn left onto Hampton Locust Grove Road. Stay on Hampton Locust Grove Road for about 1 mile and turn left onto Weems Road. Follow Weems Road to the end to get to the access ramp. The Cole Reservoir is owned by HCWSA and is governed by their guidelines and restrictions. Currently the guidelines are as follows: • Fishing is permitted in designated areas from April 1 through September 30, 7 am to 7 pm, Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday only, and Memorial Day, July 4 and Labor Day. • No fishing is allowed from the banks at Heron Bay. • Swimming is not permitted.
