Why Study ICT Education at UNE?
At UNE we have great on-campus accommodation, a vibrant campus life, excellent distance-education, sporting facilities and skilled and experienced staff. ICT education at UNE is integrated across all teaching qualifications. We have an outstanding external study program, where we provide on-line support through podcasts, blogs and discussion forums to develop student-teacher interaction. On campus courses offer full interaction with staff and students in stimulating workshops and seminars related to developing skills and teaching with ICT. All students engage in practical teaching experience in schools as part of their course. Competence in using ICT effectively in the classroom to support student learning is seen as an essential aspect of all courses. ICT lecturers actively carry out research into learning with ICT, which directly informs the education programmes.
