What is parcel girth?
The girth of a parcel is the distance around the middle of the parcel. It is calculated in centimetres and would be the (width x2) + (height x 2). The longest side of the parcel is considered to be the length so the shorter two sides are the width and the height. As an example, if you have a parcel that is 1 metre long, 50cm wide and 40 cm high then the girth will be (50×2)+(40×2)=180 centimetres.
