University researchers in Idaho who were seeking a biological control for fungal pathogens that was safe, developed RootGuard Plus. This formula, while organic and non-toxic, is highly effective in controlling a multitude of pathogens on a wide variety of crops. RootGuard Plus is packaged in 12-ounce jars, which is enough to treat 3-6 acres of most fruit and vegetable crops. Only one treatment per season is needed for most pathogens. RootGuard Plus will eliminate or reduce the need for many fungicide applications.
