Can decide where to plant my rhubarb?

0

Choose the location that gets the most sun and is least likely to get trampled on. Rhubarb plants get very large – after a few years it might be 5-8 feet in diameter, so factor that into your decision as well. Dig a large hole. Place some gravel or stones in the bottom of the hole to help with drainage. Backfill the hole with a mixture of soil and compost and then plant the rhubarb. The gravel will help with drainage and the compost will provide nutrients for the plant. The following link has lots of good info about planting, watering, fertilizing and harvesting rhubarb. Good luck!

It needs sun so don’t plant it under anything. And add some sand and compost to the soil to add drainage. It’s rhubarb and it’s a tough plant but doesn’t like sitting in water.
