How Do You Plant Thornless Blackberries?
Thornless blackberries make growing blackberries at home an easier task. Blackberry thorns often discouraged gardeners from planting the berries in their backyards. Thornless blackberry bushes are not as cold-hardy as thorned bushes, so check that your climate can sustain the bush before planting it. Otherwise, planting a thornless blackberry requires only that you create the right environment for the plant. Choose a planting location with full or partial sun and well-drained, moist soil. Almost any kind of soil will suffice as long as there is no standing water at any point in the year. Amend the soil where you will plant the blackberries.
