How does FlightAware handle time zones?
By default, FlightAware displays times in the airport’s local time zone for US and Canadian airports. For example, if a flight is flying from Houston to Los Angeles with a 4 o’clock departure and arriving in LA 3 hours later, it will show a 4:00 CT departure and 5:00 PT arrival. Registered users can select various time zone and time display preferences including the ability to show all times in your local time zone. For airports outside of the United States, UTC is selected as the local time zone in most cases.
