How is PAS received by management?
More negative responses were originally received from first and second level managers than from the employee groups. The initial thought was that this process would increase the workload with no positive end result. However, the system was designed to solicit a “paperless” response from management thereby causing a minimal increase in the workload. Furthermore, the PAS administrative team acts as support staff not only to the oversight board, but also to management and other employees of the Department to help facilitate intervention needs. This helps strengthen internal relationships, which increases the buy-in to the PAS system from management.
