“What does a fashion director do? Fashion director’s key responsibility is to have a unified look for a department store, a magazine, a media company. Who are your targeted clients and who are you trying to promote to? Is it going to be teenagers, men, women and the direction that needs to be gone with them. It’s also looking a past trends and foreseeing what’s going to be up in the future if you want to be a little bit more creative and go with a different direction to do that. Or, if want to kind of stay the same, knowing what, you know, what they’ve done in the past and continuing with that.
