How Do You Delete Sysguard Spyware?
Sysguard.exe is a system process that runs on your computer and indicates that your PC is infected with Spyware Protect spyware. This spyware generates system messages and alerts notifying you of the spyware and viruses found on your PC. Then it tries to entice you to buy the Spyware Protect program to get rid of the found threats. However, both the messages and the application are fake–a scam targeted at inexperienced computer users. You need to remove the Spyware Protect from your PC to get rid of sysguard.exe. Press “Ctrl,” “Shift” and “Esc” keys at the same time to start the Task Manager. Click on the “Processes” tab. Select “SpywareProtect2009.exe” and click “End Process.” Repeat step 3 for “SpywareProtection2009.exe” and “sysguard.exe.” Close the Task Manager. Go to the “Start” menu and select “Run.” Type “regedit” in the search line and hit “Enter” to start the Registry Editor. Browse to and remove the following registry entries: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Spyware Protect 2009
