Who is Shane?
Shane McCarty * actively caring * creative marketing * social psychology * life coaching * Shane is a Virginia Tech Junior with concentrations in marketing, psychology, and leadership. My most notable experiences have tested the fields of social media marketing, graphic design, and entrepreneurship. I currently serve the students of Virginia Tech as the Vice President for the Student Government Association. “Ut Prosim” means “That I may serve.” It is the Virginia Tech motto and my way of life. What is Shane doing? I have been working passionately on multiple projects at Virginia Tech. As a member of the Student Government Association, my priorities are to the students. I took a summer job with the second-best transportation division in the country in the hope of bringing back ideas to better the Blacksburg Transit bus service.
