What is a LING LING????
Here at Mini Cattle Pros visitors come and see our Ling Ling cattle and fall in love with there unique look and great beef frame and often ask what is included in the breed. It is very simple really a ling ling is nothing more than a triple cross breed of cattle meaning that 3 breeds of pure breed cattle were using to create this one great breed. A miniature Low line Angus crossed with a miniature Herford is your starting point. Then add a miniature belted Galloway and you have completed the breed we call Ling Ling. Along with the great beef traits and good looks our Ling Ling cattle are super hardy because of the triple cross breeding that was used to create them. We are also experimenting with a 4 breed cross in which we take our Ling Ling bulls and breed them to a miniature jersey. We hope with this breed to have better udder traits and improve milk production which would make a more dual purpose cow.
