Why Lake and River Spear Fishing?
Experience the thrill and excitement of fishing underwater! Our local conditions provide an outstanding environment. What certification do I need to start? • Every certified diver is welcome. • If you are under15 please bring Mom or Dad. Families have a great time. What will I do? During your initial classroom session your instructor, Ken Johnson, will review his book “Introduction to Lake and River Spear Fishing”. What better way to learn than from the textbook author himself. All safety practices, equipment selections, hunting techniques, and a pre-dive walk-thru will also be discussed. A weekend or evening outdoor practice session is then arranged to apply what you learned in class. How long will it take? • Course Hours: Generally 2-3 • Practice fun dives are arranged with the instructor Where can I go from here? St. Croix Scuba has scheduled trips throughout the year. Local trips in Wisconsin and Minnesota are planned to spear rough fish. Travel to South Dakota is planned to spear
