Put on rubber gloves to ensure that your hands do not accidentally become contaminated with any urine. Find the problem area or areas that you suspect are contaminated. Turn off all lights and close window shades to make the room as dark as possible. Turn on your UV light and hold it toward the area. You may have to get within several feet in order for the light to be concentrated enough to show anything. Look for any dull, yellow stains. These are urine stains.
