How Do You Get Rid Of Kitchen Sink Odor?
Placing dirty plates in your sink can cause food particles to transfer from the plates to the surface of the sink and your sink’s drain. Simply rinsing out your sink with water may remove particles from the sink, but will not get rid of the odors. A common household item will clean out bacteria and other items inside the sink and remove the odors. Rinse your sink thoroughly with hot water using the sink’s faucet. Plug the sink’s drain. Pour roughly 4 to 6 cups of white vinegar into the sink. Larger sinks will require more white vinegar. Fill the rest of the sink with hot water from the faucet. Let the liquid remain in the sink for about one hour. Empty the liquid from the sink. Pour 1 cup of white vinegar down the sink to ensure that all odors at the edge of the drain are removed.
