Who can afford a Cornell education?
Cornell University’s mission of “Any Person, Any Study” means that we strive to make a Cornell education financially possible for any student who is admitted to the university. Cornell has made the commitment to students who demonstrate financial need by assisting in meeting that need with one or more financial aid components. Each aid application is carefully reviewed by a financial aid counselor and a specific aid package is designed to meet your need. Building on a long history of providing access to students regardless of economic circumstances, Cornell recently announced a new financial aid initiative to reduce or eliminate need-based loans for eligible undergraduate students. Please visit the Office of Financial Aid website for more details.
