Does Shubb Capos do custom work?
Yes, sometimes. Within certain limitations, we can adapt capos to fit unusually wide, or shallow, or thick necks …that sort of thing. I once even made a capo for a fiddle, but I don’t particularly plan on doing it again. If it’s something we can do without redesigning our product from the ground up, we’re often willing to take a shot at it. We usually don’t charge extra, but it takes us several weeks to work into our production schedule.
